Aliexpress is an online retailer that offers the majority of its products from China. There are also other countries to buy products from, but the suppliers are usually from China. The products are available for a very affordable price because you order right from the retailer.
I’ve bought many items on Aliexpress for the past few years and let me just say that I have a love and hate relationship with Aliexpress. Sometimes they make me angry and sometimes they make me happy. But since I’ve bought these dresses I thought I might as well share this mini AliExpress dress haul in today’s blog post.
There is just something that makes me go back to the AliExpress website to have a look. The main reason for that is to simply see if I can get items for a bargain. Because who doesn’t love a bargain right? And let’s be honest we all can save up some money during this pandemic we’re currently living in. I’ve been looking for dresses for a while but I didn’t want to pay too much for them.

The type of dresses I wanted
I wanted the type of dresses to be of decent quality, suitable to wear during the transition weathers; like Spring and Autumn. They had to look nice, airy, sexy, and let’s not forget the affordable price tag. I went for a hunt on AliExpress with my list in mind and after splurging the AliExpress website I came across a few dresses.
I’ve ordered 5 dresses. May I add that I am extremely satisfied with this order, which adds to the fact that I love Aliexpress now?
The first dress in this AliExpress Dresses Haul
The first dress is a one-shoulder dress with a high split. This dress is very sexy and it’s not a dress that I would wear outside, because it’s a little too tempting or too sexy maybe? I don’t know because my friend keeps telling me to wear these sexy dresses but I don’t feel comfortable enough to do so.
This dress looked so beautiful on the website that I’ve ordered it in two colors; nude in size small, and black in size extra small. These dresses were available for under 9 euros.
The dresses are made out of cotton knit stretch material. The fabric is not too thick and not too thin. They are not see-through.
The dresses are true to size. I feel like I should’ve ordered both dresses in the size small. The black dress is a little tight, that’s why I think the small size would be better for me.

The second dress is a long knitted dress with faux buttons down and a split in the front. The quality of this dress is amazing. The fabric is thick, not see-through. This dress is suitable to wear in the winter. I took a size S, which was the smallest size available, but it fits a little loose. A size xs would fit much better but the smallest size was small. This dress was available for under 23 euros. It took the longest to arrive and it was the most expensive one of all the dresses I’ve bought.

The third dress is also a long knitted dress with buttons all the way down and a split. It has a v-neck and a split. I got this dress in a size small and it’s true to size. The stretch in this material is a little less than the other dresses.
This dress is different from the one above because it has a collar. The fabric of this dress is not as thick as the first one but it’s also suitable to wear during the colder months. This dress was under 14 euros.
The fourth AliExpress dress in this AliExpress Dresses Haul
The fourth dress is a short dress with an open back. The length of this dress is above my knee more in the middle of my thighs. I consider this dress to be more suitable for the festival season. The material is some sort of spandex and it’s quite thin, it’s not see-through.
This last dress looks a little cheap to me and I think it is because of the thinnish material. I bought this dress for under 9 euros. This is dress is my least favorite out of all of the dresses I’ve bought.

What I don’t like about AliExpress
Let me first start by warning you to be careful to order stuff on Aliexpress. Why?
Because sometimes items are not as they are advertised on some of the store pages. You might end up getting a whole other usually cheap item than the one you bought that was advertised.
The shipping takes forever 2 – 12 weeks sometimes you don’t even receive the product. In some cases, it is possible to get your money back and in some cases, the buyer’s protection is over with.
Communication with the sellers can be a headache at times. Just be careful overall.
Tips:
Only buy items that are reviewed by other people. In that way, you can read people’s experiences and decide better if an item is going to work for you.
