Today I’m sharing another AliExpress haul with you. I’ve shared a previous AliExpress haul and you can read it here.
Now, I have a love and hate relationship with AliExpress. Sometimes I get angry when the items I ordered look nothing like the picture advertised. Most of the time I love AliExpress especially when my items are beautiful and as described. There is just this thing like buying items for a bargain that keeps on pulling me back to this mega website. And yes, I did it again. I bought a few items that I want to share with you in today’s blog post. Simply click the pictures to order an item you like.

What is AliExpress?
AliExpress is a huge website with a mega large collection of Chinese vendors that sell items for an affordable price. They sell everything, you name it and they have it. Some vendors even create your ideas into a prototype (a tester/ example item). Ask them and they will make it for you. Almost everything is negotiable, you just have to ask and be patient.
The downside from ordering items on ALiExpress
The downside with AliExpress is that you do not always get the exact items that were advertised (the picture you clicked on to purchase). Usually, you get a knockoff or an item that is of a way less quality than you expected.
Another downside is that communication with the sellers is hard at times. The sellers speak Chinese and this language barrier can make communication hard, but many sellers speak basic English.
Also, the shipping takes forever. You can get your item in two weeks at the fastest but it can take up to two or three months. So be patient.

These dresses are beautiful and my favorite. I only noticed when I received them that they are transparent. These are not suitable to wear outside, they give no coverage, everything is visible. The material is thin, stretchy and it feels nice on the skin. The grey one is a bit itchy. I’ve ordered them in a size Medium. The colors above are white, green, and grey. I planned on wearing them as lounge dresses, to go to bed. Another way to wear these dresses is like a bikini cover-up to the pool or at the beach. They will look really stylish.

Floor-Length dresses

I ordered these dresses because of their lengths. Floor-length dresses are beautiful to me. The only dress the reached the floor out of these three dresses is the floral dress. The other two dresses reached my ankle and a bit above my ankle.
I ordered the first spandex dress in the color khaki, size small. It has a lot of stretch to it, there is a split at the back and it’s very revealing to the contours of your body. It’s my least favorite item out of this haul. It’s not available anymore, but I placed a link to an item that is similar to this dress.
The mesh dress is beautiful, quite tight and it also has a split on the side. The straps are adjustable and I ordered it in a size small. It was available in one color; khaki.
The floral dress is also a beautiful dress but it is transparent. You see everything, maybe not as see-through like the three transparent dresses above. It’s a beach dress to wear over your bikini or swimsuit. The floral pattern on the dress is vibrant and it makes the dress look chic. There is no stretch to this dress at all and I ordered it in a size large. This is the larges size available for this dress and I usually wear a size small. This dress feels like it’s going to rib easily because it has no stretch. To me, this makes the dress delicate to rib and tear.

Two piece sets

I love me some two-piece or co-ord sets. Simply because I can just put them on and go. The first set is a two-piece long skirt striped co-ord set. It was possible to buy the pieces separately or together. I obviously choose the last option and I bought this set in a size small.
The second set is a knitted bralette and short set, which reminded me of a set that the Zara clothing store sold some time back. The knitted material fitted loosely and I ordered it in a size small, color apricot. The downside to this set is that the bralette is too small. If you have larger breasts it will be hard to cover.
The third two-piece set is very transparent and the material is delicate to get holes and to tear up. I don’t even think that this set will survive a wash in the washing machine. It is beautiful and more for a bikini or swimsuit cover-up. I will wear it more like a breathable pajama set in the house on a warm evening to go to bed in.

Don’t ask me why I bought this item because I don’t know why. I probably bought it out of curiosity maybe? To see if it worked? And boy does it work! It works, it lifted my tiny behind and it shaped my tummy area.
Although it works, it has some minor downsides to it. The tightening of the waist and tummy is more towards the upper part of the tummy area (above the belly button). There is no support on the tummy area under the belly button. Now because the pressure is more on the upper tummy area it makes the under tummy area look bloated. I hope that you can imagine what I mean, it’s kind of hard to explain.
Another downside is that the wholes of these supporting panties at the butt area are a bit small and tight and it looks a bit weird when you walk. There is a huge line of demarcation visible when you walk, which to me will draw attention to viewers on that part of the butt because it looks weird.

Be careful to order stuff on Aliexpress. Why?
Because sometimes items are not as they are advertised on some of the store pages. You might end up getting a whole other usually cheap item than the one you bought that was advertised.
The shipping takes forever 2 – 12 weeks sometimes you don’t even receive the product. In some cases, it is possible to get your money back and in some cases, the buyer’s protection is over with. Sometimes you don’t receive the order. Communication with the sellers can be a headache at times. Just be careful overall.
